CHYK West is the dynamic youth wing of Chinmaya Mission in North America, dedicated to inspiring young adults (ages 18–28) to live with purpose, clarity, and inner strength. Rooted in the timeless wisdom of Vedanta, CHYK empowers youth to explore life’s deeper questions, develop spiritual discipline, and serve society with compassion.
Through weekly study groups, retreats, workshops, and seva (selfless service) opportunities, CHYK West fosters a vibrant community where young seekers can grow together — physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. Guided by the teachings of Swami Chinmayananda, CHYKs are equipped to meet modern challenges with a steady mind and a joyful heart.

🌅 WHAT IS YEP?
The Youth Empowerment program is the transformative summer of a lifetime. 5 weeks, in the most serene, natural atmosphere where youth ages 18-28 evolve spiritually, study, serve, develop leadership skills, and have fun through Vedanta, workshops, sports, and most importantly: daily guidance from our revered Swamin-s and Brahmacharin-s. Equip our Youth with the skills to face life with the timeless wisdom of our Ṛṣis.
